The Clash were an English punk  band that formed in 1976 as part of the original wave of British punk rock. Along with punk, they experimented with reggae, ska, dub, funk, rap, dance  and rockabilly. For most of their recording career, The Clash consisted of Joe Strummer (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Mick Jones (lead guitar, vocals), Paul Simonon (bass, backing vocals, occasional lead vocals) and Nicky “Topper” Headon (drums, percussion). Headon left the group in 1982, and internal friction led to Jones’s departure the following year. The group continued with new members, but finally disbanded in early 1986.

Fuck Buttons are a two-piece electronic group formed in Bristol, England early in 2004 by Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power.

Hung and Power grew up in Worcester, and both wrote music while growing up. Hung was influenced by Aphex Twin, while Power was a fan of post-rock  band Mogwai. They developed a friendship in 2004 while attending art school in Bristol, and began working together, initially to create the soundtrack to a film made by Hung. Immediately after forming, they played live whenever possible, soon amassing a cult following.

Snaith nació en Londres, Ontario y creció en Dundas, Ontario. Snaith asistió a la Escuela Secundaria Parkside, y posteriormente estudió matemáticas en la Universidad de Toronto y más tarde en el Imperial College de Londres (PhD). Es hijo de Víctor Snaith, un profesor de matemáticas en la Universidad de Sheffield, y hermano de Nina Snaith, una lectora de matemáticas en la Universidad de Bristol.

Daniel Victor Snaith (born 1978), better known by the stage names Caribou and Manitoba, is a Canadian electronic musician.

Snaith was born in London, Ontario and grew up in Dundas, Ontario. Snaith attended Parkside Secondary School and later studied mathematics at the University of Toronto and later at Imperial College London (PhD). He is the son of Victor Snaith, a mathematics professor at the University of Sheffield, and the brother of Nina Snaith, a reader in mathematics at the University of Bristol.

Ellen Fraatz es una DJ  y productora alemana de música electrónica, conocida por su seudónimo Ellen Allien. Reside en Berlín y es la fundadora del famoso sello BPitch Control. Canta en inglés y alemán y ha dicho que su gran influencia a la hora de componer y crear música ha sido la ciudad de Berlín, su album Stadkind fue dedicado a la ciudad. . Su estilo es inclasificable pero es la Reina del IDM.

Ellen Allien, born Ellen Fraatz, is a German  electronic musician, music producer and founder of BPitch Control music label. She lives in Berlin, Germany. She sings in both German and English. She has said that one of the main inspirations for her music is the culture of reunified Berlin; her album Stadtkind was dedicated to the city. Her music tends to be difficult to classify stylistically and is best described as a distinctive blend of IDM and electro music, which is dance-floor oriented, yet at the same time has noticeable experimental elements.
